Account and profile information — name, email, password, location, role (candidate, employer, instructor), and profile details such as skills, work history, desired roles, and preferences.
Assessment responses — answers to competency, personality, and skills assessments, and the scores derived from them.
Employer information — company name, industry, size, role postings, and team/culture information.
Video content — video introductions you record or upload and choose to share.
Communications — messages you send through the Service and communications with us.
Payment information — billing details processed by our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers).

Information collected automatically:

Usage data — pages viewed, features used, actions taken, and similar analytics.
Device and log data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and timestamps.
Cookies and tracking technologies — including analytics and advertising tools (see Section 6).

Information from third parties:

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
We may receive information from service providers that help us operate the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

Provide, operate, and improve the Service, including generating matches, fit scores, and learning plans;
Connect Candidates and Employers and facilitate messaging and hiring;
Create and deliver personalized learning and professional-development content;
Process payments, subscriptions, and fees;
Communicate with you about your account, transactions, and (where permitted) products, features, and offers;
Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and violations of our Terms;
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We use artificial intelligence and automated processing to generate matches, scores, and learning content. These outputs are decision-support tools; you can contact us with questions about automated processing that affects you.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information as follows:

With Employers and Candidates — when you are matched or choose to connect, relevant profile, assessment, and (if you choose) video information is shared to facilitate hiring. Candidates control which Employers receive their video introductions.
With service providers — vendors that help us operate the Service, including Supabase (database and authentication hosting), Cloudflare (content delivery and video hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Google (sign-in), and analytics and advertising providers. These providers process information on our behalf under contract.
With third-party CE providers — if you click through to a continuing-education provider, your interaction with that provider is governed by their privacy policy.
For legal reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights, or address fraud, security, or safety issues.
In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some privacy laws define "sharing" or "sale" broadly to include certain advertising activities; where applicable, you may opt out as described in Section 8.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. This includes analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and advertising tools (such as the Meta Pixel). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
